The LifeWrap – Safe Motherhood Programs

Every year over 300,000 women and girls die from pregnancy and childbirth related complications.  Almost all of these deaths occur in developing countries and most are preventable.  The leading cause of death is obstetric hemorrhage; women bleed to death before they get the care they need.  The LifeWrap is a first-aid device that can save these women’s lives.

Along with an outstanding international staff, the Safe Motherhood Program has been priviledged to work with many passionate and talented interns. We hope to share their stores with you here.
